19.1.4 Entrust Certificate Authority version 8

MyID Integration with Entrust Certificate Authority version 8.x is now deprecated. This includes all sub-versions of this product; for example, Entrust 8.3.62.

This applies to all Entrust integration methods:

• Entrust Authority Security Administration Toolkit for Java (JASTK)

• Entrust CA Gateway

• Entrust Administration Toolkit for C

  Note: MyID integration using the Entrust Administration Toolkit for C has also been deprecated (see section 19.1.5, Entrust Administration Toolkit for C) and superseded with the Entrust Authority Security Administration Toolkit for Java (JASTK).

You are recommended to monitor the published support lifecycle dates for Entrust products, including certificate authorities and integration toolkits that are listed as pre-requisites for MyID integration. Where issues are raised against these product integrations, Intercede will investigate on a reasonable endeavors basis to achieve a resolution, but ultimately may not be able to resolve problems without further support from Entrust, which may be limited if the standard or extended support dates have passed on the affected products.
